About Hermes Heartland Labs

At Hermes Heartland Labs, we pride ourselves in breeding Labs that are wonderful companions, have superior temperament and beauty, good health, and a will to please.

We usually have 3 to 4 litters a year. Both the dams and stud are on our premises and litters are whelped in a 115-year-old vine-covered carriage house that has been converted to our kennel. 

We purchased our first black Lab puppy when our daughter was six months old. Molly became the foundation female in our new endeavor - producing beautiful puppies for families to enjoy these past four decades. It was a natural extension of our farm backgrounds and college agriculture degrees, not to mention that Denny, nicknamed Doc, has a love of all animals.
